"This is the first follow-up EP to Vol. VIII, recorded during the winter of 2008-2009 (with one exception). The first and third tracks are titled very appropriately, as they were recorded after I finished Vol. VIII, but would have fit perfectly on it. The second track is a remix I did with my Kaptain Kensington & The Fungus Forest project in mind, but was more than happy with it before Xaos Beast had a chance to work on it. The fourth, seventh and ninth tracks were also originally recorded for the Kaptain project, but I ended up liking them too much as is. The fifth track features the voice of a good friend of mine with one leg and plenty of things to say. The sixth track is the original demo version Crow and I made of "Tell Me What You Like," from Vol. VII: Something. And finally, track eight features my good friend Bluesteeze telling about going out to buy a car while giving me a ride home one night, long ago. "
